“Rio de Janeiro: Between Memories and Travels” is a personal photographic journey that began in 2023, documenting my returns to the city where I was born after more than a decade abroad. Each visit carried a mix of emotions, as I witnessed the familiar transform and evolve. Through my lens, I explored Rio both as a local and as an outsider, navigating the dual perspective of memory and discovery. This project reflects the tension between change and belonging, offering a visual testimony of reconnecting with my roots through an ever-changing landscape.
